Edzo Struif established FoodSteps in 2010.
Born into a Dutch family of entrepreneurs, he grows up on a traditional farm in Groningen. He graduates at the University of Nyenrode (BBA) and University of Georgia (USA, MBA).
He acquires broad based experience in marketing and sales of food products as Export Manager (FrieslandCampina), Business Unit Manager (Leerdammer cheese), Export- and Sales Manager (Nestlé) and Commercial Director (Henry Willig). He travels frequently and is responsible for activities and customers in Europe, USA and Asia. His passion lies with farming, consumer (branded) food and international business.
He combines initiative, decisive action and dedication of the entrepreneur with vision, result orientation and customer focus of the professional. His agricultural background, knowledge and experience in international food markets and roles in international companies make him a valuable partner.
Our major markets are The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, USA, Japan, South East Asia and South Korea. We are specialized in dairy products, cheese and organic food.
FoodSteps has experience and knowledge of entering new markets, selecting partners, developing partnerships and obtaining new (international) key customers.
We speak the language, we know the business culture, obtain actual market information and contact relevant players and customers.
