What is the FoodSteps €1,000 cheque?

Each year, FoodSteps selects an organization and project which encourages people in poorer countries to ‘develop themselves’. Key themes in making the selection are: ‘Women’s and children’s rights, education, agriculture, nutrition, entrepreneurship and transparency’.
