Edzo Struif established FoodSteps in 2010.

Born into a family of entrepreneurs, Struif grew up on a traditional farm in Groningen. He graduated from Nijenrode and the University of Georgia (MBA), acquired broad-based experience in sales and marketing as a Business Unit Manager (Leerdammer), Export and Account Manager (Nestlé) and Commercial Director (Henri Willig). His passion lies with food and international business.

He combines initiative, decisive action and dedication of the entrepreneur with vision, result orientation and customer focus of the professional.

His agricultural background, knowledge and experience in international food markets and roles in international companies make him a valuable partner.

FoodSteps is active on behalf of its clients in markets like Benelux, Germany, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, USA, SE Asia and Japan.

 

FoodSteps also works on behalf of foreign food manufacturers wishing to successfully tackle the Dutch (organic) retail market.
